Cedric & Victor Caldwell
Over the last two decades, Cedric & Victor Caldwell have established themselves as arguably the most sophisticated producing team in gospel music. They have received an armful of accolades, Platinum, and Gold records over the span of their career. Their talents have allowed them to work with greats like Donnie McClurkin, Whitney Houston, Andrae Crouch, Kirk & Kevin Whalum, Chante Moore, David Foster, Patti Labelle, Smokie Norful, Brandy, Joe Sample, Paul Jackson Jr., The Winan’s Family and T.D. Jakes.
Cedric and Victor both studied classical piano at early ages and both moved on to be pianist at their Father’s church. They attended Middle Tennessee State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (Cedric) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Engineering (Victor). They have toured the globe as side musicians and as band leaders while juggling the Studio musician duties. They have also been spotted in a Music Video are two while
making room to arrange for movie soundtracks, and National Anthem performance tracks for artist.
One of their objectives has been to raise the standard of excellence in the Gospel Music arena. In early 1997, Cedric & Victor, (Caldwell Plus Productions), launched their own Record Label by the name of Against the Flow Records. The first release peaked at #3 on Billboard’s gospel charts with the artist Angie and Debbie Winans.
Cedric and Victor are multi-instrumentalist, songwriters, producers, engineers, arrangers, and entrepreneurs which all comes in handy when teaming up with such a multi-faceted thinker as Bishop T.D. Jakes.
